If you enjoy a warm and intimate atmosphere, sumptuous cuisine and fine wine enveloped in a beautiful setting, you have found your place.
We offer a wide range of dishes and traditional bistro delicacies with emphasis on using seasonal, local ingredients from our farmers and producers of the North.
In the summer, you can sit on our 1,500 square foot patio and take in the beautiful view of Lake Nipissing.

The White Owl Bistro was originally built in 1934 as a confectionery store and small diner. It served the locals bacon and eggs, sandwiches and the largest ice cream cones in the Bay. It was later purchased in 2003 by Sunset Inn (located next door) and renovated into the 40 seat fine dining restaurant it is today.

In 2006, ownership had been passed on to Chef René and his wife Laura Dubois (Graduates of Canadore College Culinary Management Year 2000) who continue on the tradition of serving North Bay patrons and welcoming new ones passing by.
